| I visited Sambuca 3 with my dad for tea. Service: was terrible, the staff were unfriendly, all except one. Food: Took a long time to arrive -45 minutes! No apologies either. I ordered the Seafood Spaghetti dish, the fish was tasteless and the next day I had a bad stomach! Do not visit. | |

Special Afternoon OutSaturday 28th Jan 2012..Arrived..not exactlly the most friendly guy I have ever met.. Considering I have always went to original sambucas.. Anyway...they asked 3 times for drinks after just being seated..excuse me for wanting to read the drinks list..felt like we were rushed the whole time. Drinks delivered and 2nd ask of what to eat... Food arrived I went to help the waiter as he couldn't get to my seat...soup yes is lovely and hot but did not appreciate the heat on my hands..no apologises either..I would of dropped it if I hadn't had my niece sat there! 2nd course.. Warm ok not anything I would rush back for.. 3rd course...ice cream..or coffee vanilla (no choice) or coffee that tasted a day old.. Disgusting! Will never return...there staff should pop along the road and take some customer service skills from the original sambucas! |

| We are regular visitors to Sambuca2, every visit has been an excellent experience as Claire Sargeant has previously stated come along and try it for yourselves before pre judging the quality of the meals and the skills of the staff. The latest visit was a birthday celebration with our family including our 10month old grand daughter. Unfortunately our son & daughter in law had to take our grand daughter home as she was unwell(nothing to do with the food I may add)after the meals had been ordered. The staff were superb, the meals etc were boxed up in take away containers to take home. Our family party were re joined by our son who was surprised by the staff caring enough to enquire about his baby girl etc. Nothing was a bother for the staff. The meal was sheer quality, the staff extremely professional and the whole experience was very pleasant indeed. We have eaten in numerous restaurants Sambuca2 is our favourite place to go, knowing we will recieve a warm welcome and good food. In fact visiting again tomorrow for lunch with friends, many thanks to the staff for making it special | |

Sambuca 2My partner and I have been a few times now (she had been previously with friends). As much as it pains me to say it, she was right. It is lovely. Each and every time we've been, we've left extremely happy. Fantastic food at a great price. Polite, friendly and outgoing staff just add to experience. Our favourite restaurant by far. |

on saturday 19 march my partner took me to sambuca 2 for my birthday, we had a wonderful night everything was so good, the service, steak's done just right, chips and the veg very nice, and we had champagne [a gift from my daughter] the atmosphere in the restaurant was great, for all the staff where so busy they were so friendly and helpful, plus they came out with candles on chocolate cake with cream and everyone sang happy birthday to me [my daughter had told them] what a lovely surprise , i would like to thank claire and tina and the rest of the staff for a lovely night, we shall be back again soon, norma rowan |

SAMBUCA 2 (New management) I have read some of the comments from Sambuca 2 which has horrified myself to see, If I was to read the comments before going into Sambuca 2 I probably would not go in. I would like to inform everyone that I Claire took over Sambuca 2 a few months ago and a lot of things have "changed" including staff. I do read the comments frequently and take interest in what people think of there welcoming and meal they have had in Sambuca 2. I work on the floor most nights and make sure everyone is happy and satisfied with their meal. Sambuca 2 has a lot of regular customers that are Happy with the food and Service provided since the change over, I would just like people to try it for themselves, Look Forward to seeing you x x |

| The steak - any steak - from Cassia Sambucas is sensational. I've eaten in expensive restaurants around the country but the steak here cannot be bettered for size, taste, quality and value. Superb...I want to try the rest of the varied menu but can never get past the steaks! | |

I went onto the website to see if Christmas lunch was being served, and was amazed at the the reviews, I have had absolutely loads of meals here and never had a bad one, we have been in Sambuca one and two not the new large one yet, but I have always found the staff absolutely lovely and extremely child friendly, the drinks are really reasonable, and they do a xmas lunch three course for under eight quid! the main consisted of Turkey and stuffing, sausage and bacon, yorkshire pud, spring cabbage, carrots, roasted parsnip, turnip (the best I've ever tasted) roast potatoes brocolli, lashings of gravy, I changed my stater and my friend did too, I had crab bruscetta, lush and they had scallops both under a fiver! Who ever is posting these bad reviews please tell me where you get better I'll gladly try. PS They also do a chicken with stuffed olives etc and it is gorgeous. the fish platter mmmmm all my friends that I have recommended this to have been back time and time again we even have work parties there so anyone test it yourself I'll bet you agree with me! 179a |
